Meet the Team

Saree Sasson "Sass" RP (Qualifying), MACP, B.Ed, & BPHE

Welcome! I’m Sass (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Certified Yoga Instructor, Ontario Certified Teacher, personal trainer & group fitness instructor, and current medical student at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. My path to psychotherapy has been anything but linear—and that’s part of what makes it meaningful.


Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years in the classroom as a high school teacher, where I learned the value of connection, patience, and meeting people where they are. As a personal trainer, I witnessed the powerful link between physical movement and mental well-being. And through my own mental health journey, I’ve come to deeply believe that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about learning to move forward with compassion and awareness.



Why Work With Me?

I created Mindful Pace to honour the idea that growth happens in motion—but not always in a straight line and not always forward. Whether you’re sprinting, slowing down, or somewhere in between, I offer a space where you can explore your story without judgment. Grounded in evidence-based approaches and a mindfulness lens, my work supports clients in navigating anxiety, depression, identity, transitions, self-esteem, relationships, and performance-related pressures.


With every client, I bring authenticity, curiosity, and deep respect for the pace that feels right to them. Therapy with me is real. Sometimes we cry, sometimes we laugh, and sometimes—yes—we even dance it out. I fully believe in the healing power of being present together and I look forward to supporting you on your journey at your own pace.

My Approach

I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. I use evidence-based techniques and work collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals. Through a person-centred approach tailored to your individual needs, I integrate evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Narrative Therapy to support meaningful, individualized growth.
